Eating in #TelAviv #Israel #TopChef

Herbert Samuel restaurant is probably our favorite restaurant in Tel Aviv, and also the most elegant. We chose to eat at the bar, and were thoroughly entertained by the staff.

Chef Yonatan Roshfeld has carved an international reputation with finely tuned menus at all three locations.

Herbert Samuel has an enticing menu that shows off the freshness of hand picked ingredients.

Chef Roshfeld is also a judge on Top Chef Israel. And has a beautiful book filled with amazing photos and recipes.

Herbert Samuel is also a part of the group with Alma Hotel and Tapas Ha'am.

Tomatoes – The Salad Everyone is Trying to Imitate, Tomatoes in Israel are amazing.

 

Jerusalem Artichoke – Chestnut & Truffle Soup AMAZING!

 

Blue Crab -Mediterranean, Oregano, Chili & Black Eyed Peas

 

Lamb Chops with an amazine spice flavor, sweet and tender, I had to pick them up and eat with my hands.

 

Mussels & Squid with Black & White Farfalle

 

Cheesecake with Berry Sorbet and Chocolate Mouse with Vanilla Ice Cream and Butterscotch

 
We also had a tour of the amazing kitchen.
